Aegina – Poros – Hydra
Hydra. One of the most picturesque and atmospheric islands of the Argosaronic Sea, ideal for romantic getaways.
An island with a rich maritime tradition and cosmopolitan character, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Greece.
Resource. The green island of the Saronic Gulf with pine trees, lemon groves, peace and nobility.
Taverns, marinas and yachts, neoclassical buildings, a clock that counts the beautiful moments, pine trees to the sea, peace and relaxation.
Aegina. Beautiful and imposing with Mediterranean landscapes, history and ancient memories almost everywhere, from the beaches to the mountains, and one of the most spectacular sunsets in Greece.
The order in which we will visit the islands of Poros – Hydra – Aegina, or Hydra – Poros – Aegina, does not affect the time spent in each of them.
The ship departs from the Trocadero marina in Floisvo where the crew welcomes guests in a friendly atmosphere. Upon boarding you will receive all the necessary information about the ship and the cruise schedule. You will also have answers to the questions that you can freely ask.
The first port we will visit is that of Hydra. One of the most special and romantic islands of the Saronic Gulf. A pearl, known for its picturesqueness. Unique among the Greek islands, in which no vehicles are allowed as the only means of transport on the island are donkeys. Hydra has attracted many poets, musicians, actors and celebrities in the past with its well-preserved architecture, rural trails and deep crystal waters.
As we travel, our traditional dance group will have you dancing to Greek rhythms and a buffet lunch will be served. At the same time, the rich menu, prepared on board with fresh ingredients by our chef, will cover all tastes.
Then we will reach Poros. This beautiful and green island will fascinate you with its vast expanses of pine and lemon trees! One can easily enjoy a relaxing walk in its picturesque alleys. It is often referred to as “the Venice of the Saronic” as the transport between Poros and Galata is by boat, giving the feeling of living “on” the water.
Finally we will reach the last port of our route, Aegina. The largest of the three islands.
Apart from the port and the town there are numerous interesting areas to discover on the island. We recommend 3 optional excursions (individual expenses) – One-day Cruise Aegina – Poros – Hydra.
Classic excursion – The first option is a tour of the island with our bus. Starting with the visit of the Temple of Aphaia. One of the most well-preserved temples in Greece and one of the three temples that make up the internationally renowned “Holy Triangle” of Greek antiquity. Built on top of a pine-covered hill, it offers an amazing view that will surely be unforgettable! From this unique point you can see the Saronic Gulf, Piraeus and Salamis.
Panoramic tour – On this excursion, you have the opportunity to admire and photograph the most important points of the island. Also taste the beauty of nature, indulge yourself in Paleochora, the medieval capital of the island. Finally, visit the church of Agios Nektarios, where the Saint’s tabernacle is located!
Bath – Feel carefree as we will transport you with one of our company’s speedboats to the coast of Moni. On the private organized beach, which is ideal not only for swimming but also for enjoying the wonderful, pine-filled landscape.
