Meet at the airport and fly with SKY EXPRESS to Gatwick Airport in London. Arrival, transfer to the center of London for our acquaintance with the British capital where we will start from the aristocratic suburb of South Kensington, where we will admire the massive, imposing museums of Natural History, Science, Victoria and Albert, we will see the monument dedicated to Prince Albert and the Royal Albert Hall. We will then pass through Knightsbridge with its tasteful department stores Harrods and Harvey Nichols. Crossing Park Lane, we’ll see Marble Arch and classy Mayfair. We continue to the official residence of the Royal family – the famous Buckingham Palace – and pass by Westminster with Parliament Square, dominated by the statues of National Heroes, the Abbey, inextricably linked to the British monarchy, art and history, the Parliament building and Big Ben, the emblem of the city. Morning departure for one of the world’s most important museums, the British Museum, which houses a vast collection of works of art from every corner of the globe, including the famous Elginia Marbles – the sculptures from its fronts, pediments and pediments Parthenon, one of the six Caryatids of the Erechtheion, as well as other objects from various buildings of the Athenian Acropolis (Temple of Victory, Propylaia). We will then depart for Windsor, where we will have the opportunity to admire the eponymous castle-residence of the kings of England since the time of William the Conqueror (optional entry). We will visit the official apartments, the Queen’s doll’s house and St. George’s Chapel. Free time to enjoy a stroll through the picturesque streets of the city. And back to London.
For the afternoon we recommend an optional 4-hour night tour of London (optional, individual expenses).
Description of optional excursion. We will walk through the center of the night entertainment of the city and see the West End with its wonderful musicals, Soho with its dark and special alleys, China Town, Leicester Square, the square where the premieres of Hollywood blockbusters take place, etc. Then we will board the coach for a night tour along the Thames with photo stops at the city’s finest landmarks including the London Eye, Big Ben, Millennium Bridge, Saint Paul’s, More London Place, Tower Bridge, Shard. Free time for walking and shopping. Our next visit, the town of Stratford-upon-Avon (Stratford-upon-Avon), the birthplace of one of the world’s greatest playwrights and poets, William Shakespeare.
