Departure from Piraeus to Paros. Arrival in Parikia, the capital of the island with its picturesque Cycladic houses and neoclassical mansions and a walk to the Venetian castle, the church of St. Konstantinou and Eleni in the old town and of course Panagia Ekatontapyliani. Time for lunch and transfer to the luxurious SAINT GEORGE BEACHFRONT RESORT 4* on the Golden Coast or the central ARKOULIS HOTEL 3* in Naoussa. In the afternoon walk to Naoussa on its wonderful beach and time for dinner.
Buffet breakfast and full-day excursion that starts from the Monastery of Agios Arsenios (one of the most historic of Paros) and continues to the habitat with the orange-red Tiger moth Butterflies. Our next stop is Aliki and the maritime museum “Skorpios” (individual expenses). We continue to Dryos and Piso Livadi, where time for lunch. Later we will go up to Marpissa and Lefkes, the first capital of the island, with its traditional architecture and the church of Agia Triada.
At the Ancient Quarries in Marathi we will learn what the lychnite of Paros is and why the most famous statues of Ancient Greece were made from it, such as the Venus of Milos, the Mercury of Praxiteles, the Daughters of the Acropolis, the Victory of Samothrace, etc. In the evening time for dinner.
Breakfast buffet and we are transferred to the port of Pountas, from where we will cross by boat to Antiparos. Tour of the picturesque cobbled streets with flowered houses and the Venetian castle. Time for lunch in Antiparos and return to the comforts of our hotel. In the afternoon, a romantic walk in Naoussa and free time for drinks and dinner.
Buffet breakfast and we start for the full day cruise to the beautiful and cosmopolitan Koufonissi and the tiny but beautiful Heraklia. In the afternoon transfer to the port of Parikia for our return to Piraeus.
